Lantertronics vs Talking Electronics?
« on: September 02, 2026, 05:36:04 pm »
Hello. Recently youtube recommend this.

The comment in question is from a user named "CollinMichel-w9h".
He says he is the owner of this site: https://www.talkingelectronics.com/
and I'm kinda believe actually he is.

Similar circuit was posted here:
https://www.talkingelectronics.com/projects/SpotMistakes/SpotMistakesP36.html

Dave Johns interview with Collin Mitchell:
EEVblog #280-1 - Talking Electronics - History - Part 1 of 5

Beside who he is, I think this circuit does not work well, at least for speaker load.
(it's depends on definition of "WORK" and "DOES NOT WORK" tho)
Is this another "trap for young player"?

In the comments people have noted that the Colin of Talking Electronics is spelled Colin Mitchell and that the "CollinMichel-w9h" account was created in February.
