DSO1062D open source firmware

Hi,

The DSO1062D is very populair as you can change it from 70 to 200mhz and there are multiple hacks/schematics available so
Correct me if i am wrong but there is nobody that is working on a open source firmware right?
I found a source online, it looks like this would be a good starting point to add features and update these scopes to a better product.

Any programmers here that are intrested in this?
