Wordpress Word Wrapping Issue

I apologize upfront if this isn't the ideal place to ask a Wordpress question, but I've somewhat exhausted myself trying to solve an issue.

When using Kadence (free) theme in Wordpress, to add content on a page (a paragraph or media and text) you click the plus sign and select the object to add.

Before I was using headers (H6) for my text block because it word wrapped, but was told not to use headers for regular text, so I switched to 'paragraph'. When I did this, my text refuses to wrap.

I've looked at every menu and was on the phone for nearly two-hours with my friend who also couldn't figure it out.

One way I seemed to get around it was to press 'enter' several times, but seemed almost as if I had to carefully perform this at the end of each line which didn't make sense to me.

Does anyone have experience with text not word wrapping and can help resolve it?

Sounds like the CSS for that theme is completely stuffed up.  A paragraph (<p> tag) is the last thing I'd expect to stop word wrapping. 

You will want to inspect the page's CSS in your browser, work out where the problem is coming from, and edit the theme to fix it.  If you don't know CSS then you will need a friend to help you.  There is a long list of possible causes (CSS is complicated) ranging from obvious (whitespace: no-wrap) to less obvious (overflow, flexbox-grow, display).

(Yes I know Wordpress is marketed as if it's all easy, but in practice it's a complex hodgepodge of addons/themes.  You will encounter messy stuff like this)

The way I understand it, the only way to add content is to click an area on the page, click the + sign, and select from a list of blocks to add. The most common is 'media and text' which places two squares aside of each other on the page. A small menu automatically appears in one square asking where to get the image from (online media directory, file, etc..). Add the image and click the other box where the plus sign is again; this is where I select 'paragraph' (before I was selecting header).

If I select header, the sentences wrap, if I select paragraph, they don't.

I'll try digging deeper and/or maybe reach out to tech support because maybe it's a bug.

I contacted the support team and they resolved the issue.

It was an easy fix, but a difficult setting to locate. The setting is in customize, colors/fonts, and the line height has to change from 0 to 1.6 (or whichever setting you choose). Ironically I was in that exact menu prior, but all the Hx (header) fonts were listed. This was on top, but wasn't obvious for 'paragraph' text.

This must be the default setting for some weird reason because I didn't change it. Possibly at some point I accidentally played with the setting, but most times during the learning stage, if I didn't physically see the change made, I'd close without saving.

Hopefully this helps anyone else who has a similar issue.
