are you looking for just the panel?  it's easy to find many complete LCD displays and touch panels for iphone, samsung etc.

If you're looking for just the capacitive overlay, it's harder because of the "noise" to you, of all the phone LCD replacements with capacitive panels.

use the - operator...
i.e. search for "capacitive panel -samsung -iphone -att " and keep adding -WORD to narrow it down.

I was thinking about the noise too and that should be the main reason to not have to many touch capacitive panels.

Try to get a replacement touchscreen for some kind of Chinese tablet or smartphone. Many of them are I2C. I can recommend a 7'' one (Teclast P76Ti replacement touch panel, "narrow" connector variation) but smaller glasses do exist, too. Search them at aliexpress.com.
The difficult we do today; the impossible takes a little longer.
