Connector Identification/Equivalient
« on: July 26, 2022, 09:40:16 pm »
Hi,

I am trying to find a suitable replacement connector in the picture attached (the green thing).

The closest I can find is a Monacor CN-11J:
https://www.monacor.com/products/components/cables-and-plug-in-connectors/plugs-and-inline-jacks/cn-11j/

Clones of which I have ordered from CPC:
https://cpc.farnell.com/unbranded/cn-11j/2pin-power-socket/dp/CN05943?ost=cn-11j

Now, the important parameters like pitch, pin size and distance between mounting holes are the same.  But the panel cutout has different dimensions, and the original has a greater depth and smaller recess - so original plugs used on the replacement (CN-11J) are far from a snug fit.  Whilst I'm fairly sure the CN-11J is a suitable substitute I was wondering if anyone had seen the original connector anywhere?  As its just a two pole connector, search terms are far too generic, and an image search hasn't provided any results.  If it helps I have only seen the original connectors in that lime green colour.

I have to replace a fair few, so widening the panel cutout isn't ideal, but its only 2mm each way.
