Dip Accelerometer
House91320:
Dose any one know if any companies make a dip accelerometer.
DJPhil:
I think Freescale used to, I remember attempting to salvage a dip accelerometer a while back but I don't remember who it was from. I'm ashamed to say that the desoldering operation was a failure, as I was just learning then, so I wound up tossing it. A quick spin through digikey and it looks like they're all ultracompact smd footprints nowadays. :(
sonicj:
not to my knowledge...
sparkfun offers a wide variety in prototyping friendly form. link
fsleeman:
I personally have never seen one. Digikey has carried LCC-8 accelerometers which you can hand solder, although they are kind of a pain.
tecman:
Analog Devices has a nice selection of accelerometers. Check them out.
