Electromagnetism comic?
« on: May 08, 2016, 02:06:32 am »
Can anyone help me find a comic about the stranger properties of electromagnetism?  I remember it from years ago, but I can't find it again.

It started off explaining how a coil of wire wrapped around an iron ring could produce magnetic flux, but then it started doing weird things like stretching the iron ring, and using it as an analogue of wire.  It demonstrated some very peculiar properties of electromagnets.

Ohh yeah, I vaguely remember that -- was probably mid 2000s?  Damned if I know any keywords though..

No, it was a webcomic, or something viewable online.

Still no.  It had diagrams of transformer windings, along with explanations.  Then the transformer core is used as a "winding".  No characters or panels.  It was one long page.  Less of a traditional "comic" I suppose, but the format was befitting of a science comic like Abstruse Goose.  Unfortunately my searches still yield nothing.

Nope.  I guess it's been lost to time.
