Homemade Enclosures
« on: April 19, 2015, 04:16:37 pm »
Here is an easy way to make your own simple enclosures of any size or shape using four basic tools. A Jigsaw, file, vice Folder and sandpaper.

This box that I made today cost me nothing as the aluminium was used material.

Nice, but there is nothing supporting the front plate, won't it smoosh under use? I'd have put the side panel under the plate, or added flanges.

That is a good idea, I will probably improve and modify it and add more support to the front. It is solid in it's current form but if it is cut then it will weaken it.
Thanks for the nice comments on it.

I just wish I had the room for a decent workshop area.
