HY50-P/SP1 current transducer
« on: May 23, 2024, 11:11:59 am »
Hi,
I'm repairing an inverter and it has HY50-P/SP1 50A 5V single supply current transducer inside which seems to be broken as its output at 0A current is 0 V (should be 2 V according to https://www.lem.com/sites/default/files/products_datasheets/hy_10__50-p_sp1.pdf) and the output doesn't change when current flows via primary. Anybody any idea where to buy this transducer or where to get a replacement? Unfortunately it looks like this is already discontinued part.

No, unfortunately they don't have it in stock. It is probably HY50-P you see they have in stock which has different pinout and supply voltage.

Thanks a lot but unfortunately, I need multiple pieces and also the price is completely out of my budget.

The nearest replacement I found is pin incompatible ACS772ECB-200B, 10mV/A sensitivity. Unfortunately the zero of the output is at 2.5 V, not at 2 V as for HY50-P/SP1. So it will need an adapter and some circuitry around to have 2V zero of the output.
