Image Processing
« on: January 06, 2011, 03:39:08 pm »
Hello everyone,

Can anyone point me to some reference material covering image processing? I would like to use and image sensor and a uController to scan an area and look for a particular shape and color. When the shape and color match it outputs a simple LED/Piezo signal. No need to actaully drive a display.

Thanks,
Strube

you are talking about one complete subject being taught/learnt/studied in higher education level. its a complex subject, so finding a proper book is my suggestion, here is one example http://www.amazon.com/Digital-Image-Processing-Rafael-Gonzalez/dp/0201180758 (type image processing book in google), that book is my random search, but i think will be good enough.

Computer Vision Principles and Practices, I have this tucked away somewhere.
If you have any questions I will try to answer them, I will just have to find the book first ;D
