We have seen a LED ceiling lamp from "Trio lighting" which we like. It has, however an integrated dimmer, which is controlled via the mains switch.
Something like "1 x on/off" on, "2 x on/off 25%", ... or something like that. (I didn't check the details). I want to control this lamp via  a wireless dimmer (which is in place for the existing lamp already)

I do not expect any difficulties with this. It has 5 ornaments, each with 8W LED (probably Warmwhite and a cold white, since it has 3 (dipswitch selectable) color temperatures. Find out wther the ornaments get CV or CC, measure voltage and current  and use an appropriate dimmer.

Before buying it (it's not really cheap) I was wondering if there is anyone here who has some experience with this type of 'built in' dimmers ? And if I can expect any pitfalls ?
