Lithium batteries and charging
« on: July 09, 2020, 04:05:55 pm »
Hi,
couple of questions:
1) can you put multiple Lithium batteries in parallel and charge them as a single battery?
2) if so, does that apply to all Lithium types? i.e. Lithium Poli, Lithium Metal Hydrate, Lithium Ion etc)?
3) are there any "classic/good" Lithium battery charging IC? Ideally universal ones which can do multiple chemistries too?
Thank you :)

The TP4056 is probably the most popular charger I/C for single-cell lithiums, and most of the modules from the Far East use that chip.
