logic of connecting two RAC04-12DC/230 in certain way

Hello , I have two RAC04-12DC/230 which are connected in layout as shown below.
the component pin are described in the datasheet and the attached table.
The device has 3 modes of operation by which is desided what in the exact role of each pin.
I dont know what mode the devices are in.
Using the attached photos i saw that pins 5 of both devices are connected,also pins 6 of both devices are connected,as shown in the attached layouts.
Also there are +12V -12V line come out i dont know where from.
What could be the logic of connecting these devices in such way?

In which way? Connecting pins 5 and 6? To supply both devices with VAC in (N) and VAC in (L).

Did you read the datasheet?
