Logitech Headset
« on: October 25, 2016, 11:50:15 pm »
Future engineers:

When you make something make it very clear WHAT YOUR PRODUCT IS DOING!

DO NOT DO THIS -

I own a Logitech headset. When I mute it, it gives a tone, when I mute it another.

It ISN'T CLEAR what is what so now I have a reverse audio image of the coughing from my illness I try to mute out. Fantastic!

Sorry I pulled it down. I was so mad. It's a video of programming with telling what I am looking for and coughing. The coughing was supposed to be muted out. Instead because the headset wasn't clear the video is filled with coughing and no explanation of what I was doing. The exact inverse of what I was doing. The head set gives two tones. An up run which means on, and a down run which means off. However for people with disabilities this is simply not clear enough all the time.

So, basically user error and the engineers are to blame, eh? I imagine handycam designers must get a lot of heat from amateur video producers that end up recording their feet instead of their child's birthday party.
<fellbuendel> it's arduino, you're not supposed to know anything about what you're doing
<fellbuendel> if you knew, you wouldn't be using it

All I can do is laugh as this response. There's never a such thing as one in engineering. If I've done it so have many others.
