The one fellow I know who retired from a radio station was just called away to a family emergency (granddaughter was diagnosed with leukemia) and won't be back until the end of summer. Dang.

I set the frequency generator for a 60 hz 3v sine wave, installed a t, connected one bnc to the Rigol scope and the other to my DMM. The Rigol shows a nice steady +2.96 to -2.96 wave when measured with the cursors. (the measurement function shows a nice steady 5.92v p-p, but the RMS value is all over the place, and varies with the time base setting. ???. I think there's a bug there!) Anyway, my meter occasionally wanders up and down +/- 3 millivolts but generally sits at 2.086vac. So, compared to the Rigol, my meter is within 0.33% (which would be pretty impressive!). Compared to the commanded setpoint of the DDS-25X, my meter is out 1.665%. Now, if I could just find a way to confirm the error on any one of these contraptions, I'd be able to account for all!
