ne602 LO question

Hi,
If I already have a LO signal, how should I connect to a NE602/SA612?
For instance, looking at the block diagram in the datasheet (see attachment), it looks like I could connect my LO signal to pin 6 and leave pin 7 unconnected?
Thanks!

Hi!
Yes, your signal should be fed into pin 6 via a capacitor and pin 7 should be grounded with a capacitor.
You should also have an eye on the amplitude of your LO signal.
Cheers
Guido
