Need help identifying an IC

I'm trying to work out how a cctv camera I have works and i'm having a hard time identifying an IC on the board, it's marked as follows:

"V17
 33 02
    148 "

It's a surface mount dual inline package (I'm sure of the exact size) 8 pins.
