NRF52 bluetooth nixie watch
« on: October 02, 2020, 06:59:37 pm »
Hi all,

I finally began a project which I have wanted to do for years but only recently have gained the skills to attempt

This is a 4 tube, direct drive (non-multiplexed), nixie tube watch featuring the nrf52832 MCU with a few peripherals, such as capacitive touch, low-power accelerometer, USB-C, and a few others. You can see all the pictures (including schematic and artwork) and read about it in detail here:

More updates to come as I wrap my head around the firmware tasks. I am definitely a hardware oriented individual, so it will be quite a challenge in addition to the work that is already done!

Thanks mayor! Hopefully it will look even cooler once I get the firmware rolling and the tubes lit.

Appreciate it. The home lab has come a long way since we've all been under quarantine... at least there's one positive side effect in light of all the recent misery!
