Hi everyone!
I’ve built a marine diagnostic tool based on the Waveshare ESP32-S3 Touch LCD 5 and published the firmware on GitHub.
It supports:
- NMEA 0183 reception and generation over RS-485;
- monitoring of selected NMEA 2000 messages;
- a CAN bridge for the SAILOR TT-3027C antenna, with live status, signal level, position and terminal access.
The device can be controlled through its touchscreen or a web browser.
The firmware is open source. Feedback, suggestions and reports from anyone trying it with other equipment are welcome!
