I used my pickit2 to program PIC microcontroller , but after programmed when I plugged it into the circuit it wouldn't work correctly. When I programmed the PIC with Enable code protect option it work correctly.
please tell me  weather the PIC have to program with protection enable or not  or else please tell me what is the correct procedure.

Interesting thing - when i was doing DCC decoders for model railway one out of 5 pics i used acted funny - programmed and verified OK but failed to work in a circut. Sounds like your problem and possibly a faulty chip.

Is it really THAT hard to carefully READ THE DATASHEET of the PIC chip and UNDERSTAND what the "code protect" feature does?
Or how about reading the Pickit2 manual?
