PowMr M60-PRO MPPT hacking to add WiFi/Bluetooth ?
« on: April 23, 2026, 01:14:38 pm »
I got this PowMr M60-PRO MPPT controller. For the price, it's really nice, supports up to 60 units, and has current throttling. Can't really complain. The only thing I'd say it's lagging in is data logger/remote monitoring and control.

Is it possible to adhoc/diy a data logger/remote control monitoring in this using an ESP32?

I checked the lower right interface. Looks like it is dead. VCC=5v, GND, Tx=0v, Rx=0v, and the left one seems to be locked to RS-485 parallel interface broadcast (it sends the same/similar message (binary) every 10-30sec )
I've checked them, I measured around<0.2v on them, A-B, GND-A/B, VCC-A/B, they seem to be at constant voltage, including the serial-looking interface above it
