Hello, can anyone tell me the major differences between op amps? I have some but the spec sheet calls for lm324 amps. I'm basically boosting a microwave signal, around 100 hfe is what I need.

Can I pretty much use any amplifier? I see too many differed types.

hFE is a metric for BJTs and a LM324 won't do much at microwave frequencies, you seem to have some major gaps in the necessary knowledge to even try to tackle this which won't be able to be filled by forum advice.
