i think the jumpers/wires will get in the way, i have almost similar drawer as yours to only storing raw materials, but for a complete/half assembled projects, i still dont have a complete solution other than archiving my projects in open space :P

It is okey, this works for me and yes the jumpers will be bent, but I use so soft jumpers so it is not a problem for me to take out a draw and work on a project.
If you think this is not for you do not build it then  ;)

Shafri,

Try stack-able shoe boxes. They are usually high enough to not mess with the wires.  They can help save space while keeping your breadboard intact , but they still don't fit everything.  Every now and then you can find them for about $1USD each.

different people tent to work on different types of projects so really on storage it is: "each to their own" As Dave has said before the plastic storage boxes work a treat to put all of the project materials in
