Protocol for programming PEEL chips
« on: January 23, 2020, 08:04:10 am »
I am interested in programming a PEEL18CV8, but I find no programmer that supports it.
I would like to have a try in developing one.
I see that back in the day there were self made ones
https://www.americanradiohistory.com/Archive-Poptronics/90s/90/PE-1990-01.pdf
however I do not know the protocol. Does anyone have any information about?

If you interested in build own programmer this documents should be helphul.
But it is for PEEL18CV8/16CV8  not PEEL18CV8Z (zero power).

Regards,
JarekC

PS.
I have some (>100)pcs spare PEEL18CV8ZP and programmer for them Labtool48.

Unfortunately, the links to the other algorithms are broken (18CV8Z, 22CV10).

I only have printed data book "ICT Product Data Book 1999/2000"
and install disc for "ICT Place DOS", WinPlace 2.0" and "WinPlace 2.1"

Currently, I do not use these chips anymore, I have left from the previous production .

Hey Guys...i need help to an old program here.... I'm young and I never programmed any SPLD! I need to make my own programmer for an PEEL22CV10A but the documentation is rare! I found some App Notes with help of wayback machine but It seems to be a secret how they program EPLDs! ICT company was incorporated to DIODES and I asked them about information and they said that they bought the company 10 years ago and this product was outdated on that time!  :-DD

Anyone knows how to read and program this PEEL22CV10?

Which appnote? I only have PEEL16CV8, PEEL18CV8 and PA7540. Also, PALCE information can be found at https://dewey.petra.ac.id/catalog/digital/detail?id=16353.
