Suggestions for a high stability MEMS tilt sensor
« on: July 09, 2026, 11:58:32 am »
I am looking for a PCB mountable 3 axis tilt sensor with low drift. It should have <0.1° accuracy after 5 years. I can calibrate it once, but then it is in the field without access. Temperature range -20°C to 60°C, but only with slow changes. No harsh shock or vibrations.
The best candidate I found is the ADXL355 with the special ceramic case, but it is a bit expensive for relatively high volume.
Are there a bit cheaper (half the price would be great) options where you don't have to pay the analog price?

Define ‘relatively high volume’.
You can always talk direct to the chip maker if you really do have high volumes.

If you really need some banner stability, then you can expect to pay for it.
