For a hobby project (laser rangefinding using triangulation), I'm trying to get hold of a linear CCD sensor that has two specific properties:
a) high frame rate (4000+)
b) high resolution (>3kpx)
I found Panavision's DLIS-4K, but after contacting their sales found out that they'll ship me the 20$ DLIS-4K for a mere 180$ in shipping/handling. So now I'm looking for alternatives -- either an alternative supplier, or a completely different IC.
Could anyone point me to a similar chip? I've seen Hamamatsu's (
http://www.hamamatsu.com/us/en/4214.html) and Toshiba's (
http://www.toshiba.com/taec/Catalog/Line.do?lineid=900041&familyid=900039), but neither have fast enough frame rates..
I'm open to any suggestions here!
Thanks!
