Tactile Switch Rating

Regarding the following circuit:
http://electronicdesign.com/power/almost-ideal-low-battery-cutoff-circuit-draws-only-12-mua
http://electronicdesign.com/site-files/electronicdesign.com/files/archive/electronicdesign.com/files/29/4423/figure_01.gif
If I have a 1-2AMP load at the switched output, would the following tactile switch for S1 and S2 be adequate?:
http://www.digikey.ca/product-search/en?KeyWords=b3f-1000&WT.z_header=search_go
Contact Rating @ Voltage 0.05A @ 24VDC
I am unsure if I need a higher rated switch (i.e. 2A) as to my understanding once S1 is depressed the relay would be activated....
Or do I need a switch rated for 2A for this circuit (based on the 1-2A draw at the switched output)?

For a short time the switch will get the full rush current of the load. You can try decouple the power to the electronic circuit with a diode and then have the on switch powering only the electronics without carrying the load's current.
