USB Dongle Reader Chip(s)[SOLVED]

Has anyone here opened up a Versalent WLKB232 that is sold to directly read a USB dongle from a wireless keyboard/number pad?  The MCU or other chip (like a MAX3421E) are not identified in the operator's manual. 

Edit:  There's a PIC24 inside with USB plus the chips already described in the manual for it.
