Use Parallax 2X16 Display Driver with 4X20 Display?

Does anyone know whether the display driver board for a 2X16 Parallax display will work with a 4x20 display?  By work, I mean give a 4X20 display.   

Both boards from Parallax seem to be identical, have an Atmega MEGA48PA chip, and the display controllers are apparently Hitachi HD44780 or compatible.

Should work. At the beginning of libraries should be initialisation lines stating lcd config. eg. 16.2 etc.
