Wireless Power Transfer for Quadrotors

Hi everyone,

I'm working on a research project about inductive powering and charging. I thought I would demonstrate the possible applications of wireless power transfer in RC planes and helicopters. So I modified a small quadrotor by removing it's battery and attaching a coil to it in an attempt to make it lift off using only inductive coupling. Another coil is placed under it which is driven by a Class E DC/AC inverter at 800 kHz.
