2215a oscilloscope No trace
« on: January 12, 2016, 04:09:11 pm »
Hi:

I have a 2215A scope with no trace. Beam finder works ok. All trigger settings appear correct.
Printing out service manual today.

Any suggestions as to where to start?  is this a common fail?

Thank you

First step, as always, is to check the power supply voltages. A bad or missing power supply voltage will send the CRT beam off the screen, and hence give the symptom that you report.
