Adding buzzer on Mastech M830-B DMM

My 90's Mastech M830-B multimeter didn't have beep continuity.

Can i add buzzer in Diode mod ?

Where solder buzzer on circuit ?

more complicated than needed

you have cheap meters who have the buzzer,  if you take time and parts into considerations, it will cost more than a new meter

you need to be sure  the dial position will trigger a buzzer circuit, not jst adding the circuit

You need to have some sort of comparator anyway, won't be simpler than LM358 with a few resistors like in M838 circuit. You can use buzzer with built in driver directly powered from comparator to minimize component count (throw out transistor and a few resistors).
