Agilent 53151A Microwave Frequency Counter

Hi Group,
need your help, please.
This unit is spot on as far as self-test and frequency measurement on both channels is concerned BUT it does not make any power measurements on channel 2.
Whatever level (according to spec of course!) of power I fed in, the unit always read -42 dBm.
Visual inspection inside the unit showed nothing remarkable.
I could not find any help with this issue surfing the net. The service manual is utterly useless.

Any hint?

Did you find the CLIP?

Schematics should help a little.

I also added the available service notes, just in case they help...

Ah, whoops... I've been playing with the 53131A/53132A/53181A instruments recently and totally misred the nunber....
