Chinese generator
« on: July 21, 2019, 03:10:10 pm »
Good morning;

I have bought with aliexpress a signal generator as the picture in the attachment.
Powered, no sign of life.
Contacted the dealer, no answer, and aliexpress refused to press the dealer to help me.
From what I have seen and checked, seems to me that the firmware si corrupted or absent.
So, anybody that bought the same generator, can make the dump of the FW?
Here is the page of the generator:
https://aliexpress.com/item/32949111006.html

Thank you in advance

Usually Aliexpress has a good customer protection. But I bought once something from Alibaba, which is more informal, and the parts where broken, seller didn't respond. Had to refund it via my credit card company, but this worked.

Yean   make your point and tell them  it doesnt work, you want a refund

Aliexpress should protect you,  it did for me,   (very very long shipping, missing items, and one who did not work)

Are the boards slightly disconnected, theres two stacked together ???  and the lcd  touch panel and drive signal, is it well connected too ??
