Compatible IT8586E for LENOVO...

I am sick  to see  dead shorted IT8586E  from LENOVO...

There are brand new IT8586E cheaper and widely available.

Wondering if anyone succeeded by just reprogramming EC
on one of these vanilla ones and worked fine...
