I'm checking some caps in an older stereo from the 1980's, and I can't find much info on Nichicon SE(M) series caps, they are typical looking radial leaded electrolytic's, only 85C rated.
What's similar to them, what table or datsheets might I use to check their dissipation factor or ESR ?
Might try on archive.org or bitsavers, sometimes you can find scans of old catalogs.
Looking at the schematics where it's used will give a clue as to the important characteristics.
So far their ESR seems pretty good, there's some Elna and Nippion caps as well, I can't find the exact Elna datasheet yet either. But Besides 1 or 2, they seem pretty good, for DF.
But I don't check a lot of caps, so I don't have a good feel for the numbers.
