Fluke 87V case front replacement

I have a fluke 87V with the lettering gone on the front case. I ordered a new case front, but need to know how to remove the rotary dial to put on the new case. Any help would be appreciated.

You can use the service manual for instructions:

For what I see is the same kind as most of the Flukes, so you need to take out pressing the centre pin (credits to Mr. ModemHead - Shown on a 170 Series)
