GP1250 diode equivalent

Hi, new to the forum so please be gentle
I've got an amp on my bench that's come in for repair. I've found a blown GP1250 diode but can't for the life of me find a UK supplier for a replacement. Can anyone suggest an equivalent replacement please or, better still, a UK supplier?
Many thanks,
Rich

I think you will have to buy in bulk:

Maybe ask the seller if they can sell you a few.
What is the function of the diode in the circuit? Is it part of a bridge? Does it really need to be 2500V Reverse voltage?

Looking at the Forward Voltage figures in the datasheet, this device looks like a string of diodes in series in one package.
You may be able to replace with several single diodes in series.

I'm guessing this diode is on the OPT of a valve amp?

Well, we know nothing of the circuit that this diode comes from, but I have seen this diode used on valve amplifier OPT's, and can be got from Farnell.
It is 4kV.

The Vishay diode is 4kv but he forward current is half of the GP1250.

We still don't know what this diode is doing.
If it is catching back EMF spikes, it is reversed biassed, no forward current.
