I need help reviving my Lablot LB1102 oscilloscope
« on: October 21, 2023, 01:08:42 pm »
Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum, but I've been reading your posts for quite some time now. A few days ago I bought a Lablot LB1102 oscilloscope (it's basically the same OWON SDS1102) which the first few days worked perfectly

but out of nowhere it just didn't want to turn on again.

Because I live in Venezuela and the shipping cost to return it to the seller would be higher than the cost of the oscilloscope itself and I'm not a dishonest guy to tell eBay that the package never arrived so they can send me another one, well, I it's time to repair it

The 5V input is measuring 0 ohms, which shows a serious short circuit. Checking the power circuits, I found that these 2 TLV62130ARGTR regulators have simply died and I would like to know based on your experience, why is this happening? and Are there any other considerations I should take to bring my oscilloscope back to life? (This equipment has some sentimental value, my wife gave it to me on my birthday)
