This video may help you with MSOX6004A scope repair:
Dave does a teardown on a 4000 series scope. The 4000 and 6000 share the same plastic cas and
may have similar internal construction.
The power supply starts at around 19:43.

From the screen shot, I can see a low-power auxiliary power supply, probably using something like a Power Integhrations TOP switch. This connected to the soft-switch power button.
The power supply in the 6000 series is a different part number, but this may give you some ideas on what to expect.
The power architecture in the MSOX6004A is a single output from the AC/DC converter in the range 12-13V. around 200-250W. There are dc/dc converters elsewhere.
(You made a typo on the scope model. The correct model is MSOX...)
