Kingston 64Gb microSD UHS-I card - kaput ???

Hi,
I have been using for a week a brand new Kingston microSD UHS-I card in a
Chinese phone (...) and suddenly it stopped working. It looks like its a hardware problem
because it does not even show in the windows Device Manager when inserted in the reader.
Readers work fine. I've tried two different card readers in two different PCs with same results.
Do you know if there is an easy way to see if its a hardware failure?
(I have an oscilloscope but no logic analyzer).
Thanks.
George.

Are you sure it was really Kingston? Or did you buy it from China?

I would suggest to inspect if there are no crack in it, maybe try to bend it lightly to see if it is not broken already. About 70-80% of dead microSD cards I've seen were mechanically damaged. Usually they look normal at first glance, unless inspected with a great attention. Usually plastic on top has a crack in it, but the card is still in one piece because is held together by a thin PCB on the bottom side.

I've just checked it with a microscope just in case, but its perfectly fine.
No sign of stress on the case.
Anyway, I guess I would have to return it back for a replacement.
Is it possible that the phone damaged the card ?
