Metcal solder station parts
« on: August 06, 2023, 10:08:07 pm »
Can anyone tell me where to find parts for Metcal stations. The port where the hand unit plugs in has some of the insulator missing. I have searched high and low to no avail. SP200 station.

The RF socket? Show a few images of it on the PCB from both sides or if it's tethered from behind, as well as the front. I doubt Metcal supplies components to resolder into their stations and besides that it would likely be cheaper to get a good quality generic part (if possible).

I think it's an F-connector - Does anyone agree with that?

It is on the MX-500. On other stations it's a DIN and a mini-DIN, so it depends on which one you have. Not sure about the SP-200.
