Netgear FS105 Switch Repair

Hello!  I picked up a Netgear FS105 10/100 switch at a second-hand store.  Looks like U1 is blown out.  I can only make out "...34063"  Top result on the web looks like MC34063.  Does anyone have this switch and can confirm?  These things are cheap on Amazon, but the chip is cheaper on Digikey, and the soldering experience is great for a noobie like me.

The 34063 is a switch mode converter buy from disty or you might get surprised.

Also, you should check down the line and see if there are any other shorts or bulged caps. The converter blew for a reason. I would also change every electrolytic just because they're usually the crappiest thing that can be had on low end products.

Or... pick up a cheap gigabit switch.

If you just want to practice repair go for it, but based on your flag, it's probably not economical nor helpful unless you desperately need a 10/100 switch...
