Oculus rift connector identification.
« on: August 07, 2019, 04:00:36 am »
Hej, i was hoping that someone with some experience could help identify a connector.

The story goes that my Oculus Rift has started to get these errors, where it sayes that the HDMI connector isnt attached even though it clearly is, and after some talking with support, buying a new cable, and being frustrated. I did some experimenting and found that by wiggling the connector i can produce this fault.

So finally the guestion is if anyone has seen a connector like this before? and possible if a replacement can be bought anywhere?
The connector it self sayes TE on it and has a Y160719D1 code, this is the connector that carries both the hdmi connection and the usb.

It does look like a mini hdmi, i however can only find them with 19 pins, and this one appears to have 27.  :-\
