OS 897D P IX /HP power board
« on: March 09, 2021, 09:32:52 am »
Hi! Have a OS 897D P IX /HP oven with a shortcut on the door lock mechanism. That has caused some damage to the power board:

Can you help me with the values for the resistors and the model of the MOSFET? TRIAC? (I can only identify the "ST" logo on it)

Most likely, R099 is a 10K resistor, just looking at some board pictures online.

Found an image in another forum:

R088, R094 and R098 are 1K
R101 is 680

Only missing the MOSFET? TRIAC?, Q017, is an ST component in an IPAK package.

Done a bit more of troubleshoting:

  • Q011 is a TRIAC (0107MA BJ 020) controling the right interior light (white wire on connector J004)
  • Q012 is a TRIAC (0107MA BJ 020) leads to an unpopulated pin
  • Q014 is a TRIAC (0107MA BJ 020) controling the oven cooling fan(orange wire on connector J004)
  • Q015 is a TRIAC (0107MA BJ 020) controling the left interior light (black wire on connector J004)

Well, fitted the TRIACs and gave it a go at using a MOSFET in Q017, but didnĀ“t made the trick. Oven now displays F07 after some time heating. Found out that this is related to the door lock.

Q017 indeed controls the door lock, is a wax motor. Should I had used a TRIAC instead?

Z0107MA, STMicroelectronics, Triac, 1A, 5mA sensitivity, 600V, TO-92:
https://www.st.com/resource/en/datasheet/z01.pdf

You can buy them from Farnell or RS:

https://uk.farnell.com/stmicroelectronics/z0107ma-1aa2/triac-0-8a-600v-to-92/dp/9804595
https://au.rs-online.com/web/p/triacs/7958690/

Can you trace the circuit around Q017? I can't see how it is being driven.

Thanks! I already changed those (Q011, Q012, Q014 and Q015) but unsure what to use in Q017 (controls the door lock).

I must be stupid.

Didn't realize TO-92 and IPAK have different terminal configuration. Q017 is indeed a TRIAC controlling the door lock, this lock can be engaged by the control board through Q017 or by the thermostat on top of the oven. This one is NO and keeps the door locked in case the oven is hot.

I have a problem with this card.  There was a problem while soldering.  I want to know the 8794v-0 pin solder connection on the board.  Thanks

Hi,
I have a problem with this board, my oven just when dead.

I found the U001 (a 7 pin IC) burnt. This IC is on a small separated board soldered vertically on the main board.
I would like to request help on identifying the IC, as mine was burnt badly, half of the encapsulation is gone, I cant see the IC number.

My guess is TNY268PN.

Would appreciate if there is any info. on this chip. Thanks a million guys.
