Philips PM3311 oscilloscope , weird behaviour
« on: November 23, 2025, 09:51:36 am »
Hello!

I recently purchased an oscilloscope. I actually ordered an Hameg 1307, but the seller scammed me and sent me this thing instead, Broken
Costed $80 all and all.

After a lot of troublleshooting on the psu, i managed to make it start.
it doesnt show a trace though. this is what i see. no matter what i touch it doesnt change.

x and y can be adjusted but only this is shown

I'd like to make it work, even if it wasnt want i ordered  :(

Maybe it has to do with trigger?
the trigger section is all dark on the front panel

(video is gone)

How do you know that x and y can be adjusted if there is no trace?
