I'm not a experienced tech here, so bare with me.
I want to replace the four larger power caps in my Quad 303 and they are all 2200 uF 100v DC.'s currently in there for from the manufacture.
The Blue caps in my photos.
I'm seeing Dada Electronics use the following in their upgrade package:
• 1x 4700μF 100V capacitor for the power-supply
• 2x 4700uF, 6800µF or 10.000µF 63V or 100V capacitors for the outputs
And I'm seeing others use four 4700uF in both the power supply and the speaker outputs.
I don't want to have to change any of the wiring connecting this to keep it simple but Dada recommends if using the 4700's as the upgrade the wiring needs to be a heavy gauge.
Should I jut replace them all with the original values, only high quality capacitors?
Any suggestions please would be welcome.
