In the recently newly acquired transceiver (4months?) the hiss is atrocious , in the few years old transceiver its just bearable but now also going to be adjusted , those TDA2003's for those that do not know are very common in the previous several years across several brands of radio transceivers , Anytone , CRT , CRE , and some American branded ones but the pcb's nearly all come from the same place and it would not surprise me that all would suffer from the same thing , all for the sake of 20 cents the cheap bastards , they obviously do not listen to these things do they!
All those Qixiang radios suffer roughly similar problems.
They are a lot of radio for the money though and with a mod or two they can work really well.
