Vulcan Dishlex Milano Dishwasher Repair Article
« on: October 28, 2021, 11:22:07 pm »
Here is my article outlining the repair job done on my Vulcan Dishlex Milano Dishwasher.

I couldn't find any information about this dishwasher, schematics or diagrams, or really any references to it at all. Perhaps it was an import rebrand? In any event, I had to fly blind and learn. Hope you enjoy the read and hopefully it helps someone else out with the same machine.

Would love to meet up with people in the Canberra/Queanbeyan region who are keen to learn together.

Also hoping someone might be able to help me verify the date of the machine or at least the EPROM on the board:

The code is: 30 / 10 / 05 / 95

I've interpreted that as a date: 30/Oct/2005, but it could also be: 10/May/1995.

Any thoughts or opinions?

1995 seems more likely for a PDIP EPROM or microcontroller in a consumer grade appliance, same for the axial electrolytic capacitor. I could be wrong but I read the date code on the LM339 as 44th week of 94.

Thanks @BrokenYugo, that was a clever way to work it out. 1995 would make more sense as it does seem older than 16 years. But I just couldn't work out how to tell.
