Metcal STSS-002E Soldering System Manual

(Second try at posting this, sorry for any dupes.)

Getting a copy of this manual is like getting a glimpse of Bigfoot. Thought it might be useful to others.

Its not clear what they say about ground loss, is that just for the tip being unplugged or for loss of earth? I know the newer stations will detect loss of earth but I don't recall it working on the PS2E.

I think the PS2E will only detect if the tip is unplugged, and that requires the "enhanced" RM-3E handset or newer to work.
